The W Las Vegas and Mandalay Bay campus. My home away from home.

To date, I have hung my head at 17 Strip properties. They include (from south to north), Mandalay Bay, W Las Vegas (and when it was Delano), Luxor, MGM Grand, New York-New York, Park MGM (and when it was Monte Carlo), Planet Hollywood (and when it was Aladdin), Aria, Horseshoe (when it was Bally’s), The Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, Flamingo, the late-Mirage, Wynn/Encore, Resorts World, Circus Circus, and Sahara (when it was the SLS). And I’ve played and/or eaten and/or seen a show at all the rest.

There are lots of options, but these are the best. And they are in no particular order…

MANDALAY BAY / W LAS VEGAS

Dale and I play, eat, and drink so often at Mandalay Bay, Apple Maps thinks we work there. It literally asks us if we are headed to work when we get in the car. That said, we really do enjoy their casino; myriad food and drink options–Strip Steak, RiRa, Border Grill, and House of Blues are our favs; the “Michael Jackson One” Cirque du Soleil show; attractions–the Shark Reef is worth an hour for the sharks alone; a massive, epic pool with its own beach and waves; and, super friendly, attentive employees.

While the room options in the Mandalay Bay tower are very comfortable, Dale and I usually opt for the W Las Vegas tower for their all suite set-up and ease of getting up to and down from the rooms without having to deal with Mandalay’s typically crowded elevators.
